Lovely National Park, which has surprisingly few visitors beyond obvious locations. In practice, a car is needed. Good to view the wild deer & Exmoor ponies, but please do not approach or scare the deer, or feed the ponies.

This place felt like heaven on earth! Do I need to say anything else? If I'm alive, if I can retire with a better savings, I'm going there to live for the rest of my life.

Absolutely loved this whole area. This was my little haven. A pleasure to drive through although a half hour journey can take all day because you just keep stopping to admire the view and take pictures.

Ran into traffic on one of the small country lanes. It seems that the Pheasants, and Partridges on this particular day thought they owned the road, and would not get out of the way. So I had to follow them at a Snails Pace. Loved every second of it.

Stunning, vast views of wild, purple moorland countryside. Saw a few wild ponies, dodged pink bottomed sheep and drank in the incredible surroundings. In the other direction are endless sea and coast vistas.
